This is called the "Get A Life Mug" & with good reason...it features a picture of the 'extra life' monitor in Sonic 1 Green Hill Zone. It is pixelated with that 16 bit look & 'waiting toe tapping' Sonic. The bottom of the mug says "Get a life! Sonic est. 1991" (Which was when he technically 'got a life') The box is a cute cardboard cube with the motto "One more chance!" in the corner, & nice various classic style & neo-classic stock arts scattered around. It is great to collect mugs in boxes like this, as they are easy to keep, store & display.
