Real or Fake?
This is a suspicious plush from Brazil. It's a Modern Sonic with a few flaws like the unevenly placed eyes and clearly loose buckles. (Them riding around to the top of the shoe isn't inherently bad, this can happen when the felt isn't tacked down on the white ribbon so they slip during play) It's not a very large doll, judging by the hang loop on the head. It's conceivable that the eye mis-alignment is just a mistake and not the work of a permenently sloppy bootlegger. (The eyes are often printed on 1 shaped sheet of fabric, then sewn in as the front of the head---a crooked start to this would lead to exactly what you see here) It also seems likely that either they took News Power's pattern & modified it a little, or that they bought it from them as the doll/hands/arm length is similar to that.
So, this may or may not be official, but it is certainly found in Brazil.
