Normally, CG images or prototype game shots can't get into Gear Prototypes , because it is for physical items. However, these 2 shots are different. They are CG, but they are what was given to ReSaurus at a very early point, before Sonic Adventure 2 Battle so the company would know what the characters would look like to make toys of them. ReSaurus was originally also supposed to make Super Sonic as well, but the company went out of business before they could produce the line of figures these were supposed to be on. They had code-names too "Terios" and "Nails". You can see a video at Unproduced Toys to learn more too!
